We offer a home from home environment and a daily routine that will immediately put you and your child at ease.
Our nursery is open to every family in the community and accessible to all children.
We have two room layouts depending on age and ability of the children each session. All mobile or a combination of mobile and non mobile. The photos above detail both options., although the configurations can change.

All of our furniture and equipment is child friendly and accessible thus encouraging and developing individual choices and self selection.

We follow a daily care plan, specified by you the parent which details sleep times, milk and meal times. This ensures we are working to your routines and those familiar to the child

During sleep times, your child will be checked at least every 10 minutes and the time is recorded for reference.

Outside play

We have a well appointed garden with astro-turf grass. This allows the children full garden access throughout the year despite the weather. In addition a soft sponge surface, protects them from all those grazed hands and knees. Our apple tree provides us with home grown fruit in the late summer and our flower garden attracts butterflies and bees. We have a bug hotel where they can save all those worms, snails and spiders!!

Our sensory flowers, herbs and strawberries are planted in highly colourful tyres for all to enjoy and water

We encourage mark making skills through several interactive display boards and offer many activities to encourage their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. In the wetter months, we provide full waterproof suits, thus allowing all children the ability to access outside.

At the end of each session, you will be provided with a summary of your child's day, detailing sleep times, food and drink intake and activities they participated in. This is all designed to keep you fully involved and informed about your child at all times.

The curriculum follows The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). For more details of this statutory framework, please refer to our General Information page.

We Sing & Sign with the babies and deliver this communication tool before their speech develops. For more info please refer to our community links page and scroll down to Sing and Sign
